Reporting anti social behaviour

If the behaviour of others in your neighbourhood is bad enough for you to feel alarmed or distressed, then we may be able to help you to resolve the problem. If a serious crime is involved, then you should of course contact the police.

We will work with you and your neighbours to resolve any problems, but if this is not possible we will consider taking further action to stop the nuisance. In such cases it is essential that we have accurate records of times and dates of any incidents. Please use this form to share such information with us, alternatively you can call our anti-social behaviour hotline on 07768 286694, or download some Anti-Social Behaviour Diary Sheets here. We will then contact you within the following 24 hours.

Contact Details Your details will be treated confidentially, and will not be released without your express permission.

Incident Details The details you give here will allow us to examine what has happened and decide, with you, the best action to take.

Please give as much detail and information as possible.

  1. If overnight, write both dates.

  2. Remember to put am or pm

  3. Put the address where the incident took place, and whether it was inside or outside.

  4. Put the name and address of the people responsible, if you don't know their full name, please give us a description or any details that might help us to identify them.

  5. Write exactly what you saw and heard, including any swear words.

  6. Put the names and addresses of any other people who saw or heard the incident.

  7. Have you reported this incident to anyone else, such as the council of the police? If so, please give details of who you spoke to, and a crime reference number if you have one.

  8. How has this incident made you feel - for example, has it frightened you or affected your children's sleep? Are you more affected because of age or ill health?
