Ways to Pay

There are a number of ways that tenants can pay their rent and charges. Here are the most common methods.

AllPay

All tenants should have received a swipe card from Allpay, which can be used to make payments at all PayPoint outlets and Post Office™ branches. This service enables you to pay your rent and charges using cash, credit or debit card in the following ways:

You can also pay your rent and charges by calling the Income Recovery Team on 01442 292 361. Please make sure you have your Allpay swipe card to hand when paying your rent and charges.

Direct Debit

Direct Debit is a simple and convenient method of payment that allows you to pay your rent directly from your bank or building society account. Payments are deducted from your bank or building society account on a set date and frequency that is convenient to you. This can be weekly, fortnightly, four weekly or monthly. This method of payment provides peace of mind knowing that your payment will be made automatically and payment dates will not be missed. It is also cheaper for us to administer. Always ensure that you have sufficient funds in your account to cover the direct debit amount.
To set up a direct debit to pay your rent or obtain further information please contact the Income Recovery Team on 01442 292 361.

Standing Order

Standing order is an instruction to your bank or building society authorising them to deduct money from your account. You can ask your bank to set up a standing order or bankers' order to us so that payments can be deducted from your account on any day of the month. Payments by standing order can be set up for weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments on a date to suit you. If your rent changes, you will need to let your bank or building society know what your new payment will be. To set up a standing order payment, please contact your bank.

Bank Transfer

You can transfer the rent amount to Hightonwn's bank account each month. Please send your payment at least five working days before the payment date to allow the payment to reach us. Please contact the Income Recovery Team on 01442 292 361 for further details.

Cheque

You can pay your rent by cheque. Please ensure that your cheque is sent to us at least seven working days in advance of your payment date to allow time for the cheque to clear. Cheques should have your tenancy number and address on the back and should be made payable to HPCHA and sent to Head Office at
